2026 Fells Marathon
The Fells Marathon is a two-day hiking competition for Scouts and Explorer Scouts. Carrying full kit for the two days, the Scout teams walk around 20 miles while the Explorer Scout teams walk about 26 miles. Overnight the teams cater for themselves on a remote site monitored by event staff – no leaders or team supporters are permitted there. It is a test of navigation, camping skills and endurance.

How to Register
- All adults attending the event also need to register on this online booking system.
- ONLY adults in Leader Led Teams should be registered as adults on your Section's booking.
- All other adults attending the event should register as Staff.
- All Teams must meet the category requirements in Rule 4.

Closing Date for Entries
Rule 1.2: All teams must complete and submit consent and medical forms no later than 7 days before the event.
For the 2026 Fells Marathon, this means that all consent and medical forms must be submitted before 18:00 on 10th April 2026.
All payments (for adults or young people) must be made by 3rd April 2026.
